Do you remember where we ended up when we took the train back?

The chcolate cheese was another visit entirely. That was to the MSU cheese
factory in third grade. That was fun. I think we did eat ice cream there. Seems
to me, we ate a lot of that on field trips with Miss Dean.

That’s right. We had icecream there and chocolate cheese in Lansing. I had
peppermint icecream.

Actually, you were there. It wasfrom Charlotte to Lansing. We had to take the
bus to Charlotte. I thought you hadn’t gone on that trip. No, it was second
grade. (Think I have the class book with that in it. If I do, I’ll take the
time to type up the artile about it.)

That's cool Kalan! My first train ride was in elementary school from Lansing to
Lake Odessa, although this may have been in reverse. Whichever way, we had to
take the bus to facilitate the round trip.

On the weekends I went home and when my father didn't come get me, from his
job in Flint at Fisher Body, I mainly rode the old passenger trains! I loved
it! They were so cool to ride and the old depot in Lansing was neat too! Three
of our schoolmates often rode the train with me!
