BlankHi Luce, I always called her my second Mom. She was wonderful lady. I
know how much you will miss her. She's there in heaven putting a good word in
for all of us. Take care. Hugs, Peg

Thank you everyone for all of your kind words, thoughts, and prayers during
my difficult time. Although my rough times have just begun, I know it's going
to get worse. I still feel very numb, and I am exhausted. Next week I will get
back to work, and start some kind of a normal routine, whatever that is. I used
to call my mom every day after work, and that's going to be very difficult for
me. I couldn't have said it any better, Peg, my mom was the best of the best,
the best mom that's for sure. Lucy Edmonds, class of 73

Dorothy Edmonds Dorothy J. Edmonds Dorothy J. Edmonds became an angel on
November 3, 2015 and joined Bill, the love of her life in heaven. She was born
in Hume, IL, on February 11, 1923. Dorothy and Bill were married 60 years
before his death in 2002. Together they had 7 daughters. She was the proud
grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great
grandchildren. Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She worked
at Waverly Schools for 22 years. She was a member of St. Michaels Church since
1941, a member of the Jitney Jets and enjoyed weekly Mahjong competitions with
a special group of friends. She was an amazing example of how we all should
live our lives. She kept laughter alive in our family with her great sense of
humor and loved a good celebration. Everyone who knew appreciated her love for
life and her deep faith. She is survived by her daughters Sue (Ron) Olds, Barb
Edmonds, Ginny (Ted) Pollock, Kathy (Dave) Hankins, Pat (Pete) Clark, Lucy
Edmonds and only sister Lucy Ellen Terrill. She was preceded in death by her
husband Bill, parents Lucy and John Touhey, daughter Mary Ann, grandsons Mark
Olds, Chad Hankins and Clay Reid. The family greatly appreciates the love,
support and care given by the staff of Hospice Advantage and Hospice House of
Mid-Michigan. A mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated on Friday,
November 6, 2015, 11:00am at St. Michael Catholic Church, Grand Ledge by The
