Well, the best thing happened today. On Tuesday, I paid a visit to a dentist
office. I have been having swelling on the right side of my face. Sometimes
its so bad I can’t hardly chew. So, about a month ago I went to the doctor,
who gave me antibiotics. She said that if it came back, the next thing would
be to get a dental evaluation. So, when it returned on Monday of this week, I
called and made an appointment for Tuesday, to see the dentist. Well, after
doing the x-rays, the lady doctor told me that . When all is said and done
they wanted me to pay $1,500 for the whole needed procedure. So, right now I’m
strapped for money, and told them I couldn’t consider any new payment like that
until November. Well, today, the receptionist called me and said that that
they want to provide the whole procedure to me for free. apparently, they
have one day a year where they supply services to low income, needy people and
I was chosen. I was shocked, to say the least. So, next Saturday, the 23rd
I’ll be going through this procedure. There is a three-month follow up visit,
that I may have to pay something for. but hopefully by then, some bills will
have cleared up and my electric bill won’t be so high. Plus, since I’ll be 60
in October, I can get back some of my benefits from working for the State. So,
I’ll be researching that option, since I had good dental coverage through the
State. So, anyway, just wanted to share my good fortune with all of you. Like
I said to her, she really made my day and maybe my year. Take care all.
