Tony, even if this is off-topic as it relates to experiences at MSB, in my
opinion incidents such as you losing someone who meant so much to you is
totally relevant. MSB is so much more than just a collection of folks who went
to school together. Most of us did not go home in the evening to be with our
families as public school attendees would do. We are family! We rejoice
together when the news is good! We can laugh together if we find something
amusing or humorous! We may collectively cry and/or hurt when one of us is
experiencing loss! No apology is necessary as far as I am concerned.

I would just like to say thank you to all the good folks out there for all
their thoughts and prayers Dern this very trying time. This just to me is
really hard to take in. I just saw the guy a week before he passed. It just
goes to show, you never know. He’s going to be very severely mist buy me both
professionally as well as personally as a friend. I’ve known him for over 40
years. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have received a job with Billy Mac
and the juke joint Johnny’s. And, I wouldn’t have met Linda. And, we recorded
two albums together. i owe it all to him and the Lord above. I have a Lotta
good memories, but this one is not so nice. nothing can explain the way I feel
about this at this point, but, I know, I’ll see him on the other side. Our IP
brother.

I know that this probably doesn’t belong here on this list, but I wanted to
express my condolences to Tony in the loss of probably his best friend in the
music business, and someone who has pretty much replaced his brother, since our
brother Randy passed back in 2009. This is Gary Lintemuth. He played bass
guitar in almost every band Tony ever played with over the past 40 plus years.
He was a big guy, wouldn’t want to mess with him, but gentle as a kitten. He
was also a teacher, and an accountant, doing taxes for people, and in fact was
the manager for H. and R. Block in St. Johns, upon his passing. Tony told me
he passed away yesterday morning probably from COPD complications. Not the
virus, as he was tested both Friday and Sunday and results were negative. So,
don’t know who might know Gary, from this list, but anyone who has ever went to
watch Tony play, probably met Gary. He was the one who got Tony into the latest
band, Billy Mack and the Jute Joint Johnies. So, Tony’s taking it pretty hard,
and I thought I would ask for comfort for him, from our MSB friends. So,
R.I.P. Gary Lintemuth!
