BlankHi, Saw this on another list; posting as an FYI.

In order to take advantage of the talking channel guide from comcast you
must be on their "x1" platform. not every tv box from them is on this
platform.

You'd have to inquire as to individual plans to see which devices
you have. the guide works well, the buttons on the remote are easy to
memorize and it was easy to get up and running after techs installed the x1
tv boxes at my location.

They also offer a voice activated remote but this must be purchased and
unless one has dexterity issues necessitating its use or is a matter of
preference it isn't necessary to fully utilize these talking channel guide
and talking menus and dvr features.

They now also offer braille and large print channel guides detailing every
available channel and its number for your market upon request.
