Hi all,
I was so sorry and so heartbroken to hear of Mel’s death. She and I go back a
long way. We were best friends in school hung out together a lot had lots of
fun we even performed in a group together that helped us with Stevie Wonder for
the talent show called the rubies. I don’t know if any of you remember that or
not but we did our act similar to those of the Supremes and I was the Diana
Ross of the group LOL. There was a Melody me and Gerry Rehder Slusher. We had a
blast. We lost touch with one another for several years but then got back in
touch again and it wasn’t long ago that I had spoken with her in the summer in
fact right after I lost my Leader-Dog ginger.
Rest in peace, fly hi my angel friend you will be greatly missed here on earth
but we will meet again one day in heaven with our Lord and Savior and heavenly
father right there beside us. Peggy class of 70.
