Well for the most part, my Memorial day has started out quiet, but busy.
Despite the hot humid weather, we have been outside planting our flower and
vegetable gardens, and this morning I was up early and went to church as our
choir sang our last song for Sunday service until we resume again in the fall.
We had a barbicue this afternoon and I just got up from taking a short nap, lol
I get pretty tired you know, lol smile. Tomorrow, we are going to go to the
Home Depot and purchase plants for my Dad’s grave as well as for my brother,
uncles, and grandfathers’ graves and we will take them to the cemetery. So,
that is our Memorial day weekend.
Peggy and RLD Ginger, class of ‘70.

Well, Mine will be putting flowers on graves near Battle Creek today. I may be
going out to help with bingo tonight and possibly, be in the Saline parade
tomorrow! Our Knights do a lot of things for our vets.
