I didn't know her personally, but she had a great voice on the p. a.
Thoughts going to her family.

Subject: [msb-alumni] Lucille Alford, MSB Office P.A. Person, dies at 91
Apparently, she passed away on Monday, April 6. Saw this post from Karen
Manning on facebook:
With a sad and heavy heart ...just wanted to inform you of the passing of
Lucille J. Alford "LUCY" as you many of you know worked in the Main Building
..you heard her voice on the P.A.
~Palm Sunday was a GREAT DAY! My mother woke to her favorite thing besides
my brother Kevin....that's right BACON!
I spoke with my brother Kevin ...mom had a wonderful day. Bacon for
Breakfast, Purred Pot Roast and Vanilla Ice Cream for dinner. Sadly in early
morning hours of Monday 4-6-2020. She passed away. Even tho she won't be
having the Funeral she wanted...her outfit she wanted to where still hangs
in her closet. We will ...in a few months when we can get together Celebrate
her LIFE!!! She was 91 years young!
Mom passed in her home, in her bed, with her son near her...she wasn't in
any pain...just went to sleep. I'm so grateful!
Its strange not to be with people, hear the stories share in the hugs and
tears. Everything seems so distance...yet I'm at peace...feel BLESSED!
Because she is with loved ones that passed before her...they all have
beautiful singing voices!~
Note: Riley Funeral Home in Lansing is handling the arrangements. There is
no obit listed on their site, just her DOB and DOD
