I am also sorry to hear about your mom’s condition. We’ll say prayers for her
and your family. Glad you can be with her in what looks like to be her final
days. Do take care and yes, it will be a birthday you’ll remember, I’m sure.

Hey no problem, thanks a lot Vickie. I did have a very special birthday
yesterday I worked half the day, and then I was able to spend the rest of the
afternoon with my beautiful mother. My mother is not doing so well these days,
she is in the end stages of emphysema, and we have her under hospice care now.
She was awake all afternoon yesterday, and we talked a lot and laughed a lot
together. I think I really tuckered her out though yesterday, because she was
so tired when I left she was getting into bed, and she could barely kiss me
goodbye. I love spending time with her these days, I cherish every moment that
I have with her. Thanks for the birthday wishes on Facebook for everybody that
sent them Lucy Edmonds, class of 73

Well, I was late, I admit, but I guess the rest of the list was too. Or else
they sent wishes on face book. I haven’t been there in quite some time. So,
here’s my wish for your special day. Hope it was a great one, one that you’ll
never forget. Also, I hope you didn’t work! What a drag!

May God bless you now, and evermore!
