yesterday I worked half the day, and then I was able to spend the rest of the
afternoon with my beautiful mother. My mother is not doing so well these
days, she is in the end stages of emphysema, and we have her under hospice
care now. She was awake all afternoon yesterday, and we talked a lot and
laughed a lot together. I think I really tuckered her out though yesterday,
because she was so tired when I left she was getting into bed, and she could
barely kiss me goodbye. I love spending time with her these days, I cherish
