Hi S
Yes, I’d had my cat Charlie for almost 16 years so that was a lot of years of
attachment for sure. He was a good cat. Now, we have 2 more who have come in to
our house. Both of them rescue cats. About the same age too. Max is a long
haired boy, (a Persian) that wfound him wandering at the cemetery, just like we
found our cat Angel that way 13 years ago. She died here at home. Anyway, we
have Max and a few weeks ago, we took in a cat that my brother Thomas had
rescued from an empty apartment that he and his wife were painting. The people
just moved out and left the cat behind. So, now we have her and we call her
Miss Kitty. My brother was calling her Bella. She is a black and brown striped
tabby.
Max is black.Peggy and RLD Ginger, class of ‘70.e dg teve,

So sorry to hear about your cat. Glad your puppy is doing okay with the meds.
I never knew how attached one could get to a cat until about seven years ago.

Hello again my sisters and friends,
Well I think I told you all about our dog Pepper and how he had to spend some
time
in the hospital because of an auto immune disease called auto-immune demiated
hemolytic
anemia. Well he came home on Sunday and he is doing quite well. He is on pretty
strong
meds for the next 6 to 8 months and yes, there are side affects to those meds
like
accessive drinking and eating, but we are trying to get this auto immune disease
in remission and get his blood values back up.
Yesterday, we had to take my cat Charlie to the vet because he wasn’t feeling
well
either and as it turns out, he had stage 4 chronic kidney failure and we had to
have
him put to sleep. He was one of my favorite cats and I really miss him.
So, I am feeling a little sad today. I have been keeping myself very busy so
that
I don’t have time to think about losing him because it hurts so much.
Peggy Sue.
