Hi Peggy. It's good to see you on this list. Girl, we will have to talk soon
and catch up on stuff. I just lost my kitty. I haven't had a Leader Dog in
many years. Neat you were on a float last summer with Ginger. Take care. Peg

  Hey Don,
That is pretty cool. Wow! Pretty imprressive.
Ginger and I rode on the float this past summer for our Summer fest
celebration here in our town and that was awesome. The theme was “Fun in the
Sun” and they had a trailor that was rigged with a big Webber grill that was
filled with dry ice to make it look like charcoal burning and several of us sat
on lawn chairs around the grill with marshmellows on long tongs and right
behind us was a kiddie pool filled with water with kids playing in the water
and Ginger and a Leader dog puppy in training named Dixie rode on the trailor
right with us and the Beachboys music was crankin and it was so awesome. That
was our float that we put together with one of the local boy scout troops. I
thought that was pretty neat being that I am our club’s President this year.
Miss Ginger loved it too.

  Larry, William, and Peggy:

I have leader Dog General, sponsored by General Motors.

He is a Golden Retriever; as a puppy, he was used as a photo subject, and
appeared on Leader Dog Posters, buttons, Christmas Cards and, he also rode in
the Woodward Dream Cruise in the Summer of 2008 in a Pontiac Bonneville, with
the then C E O of General Motors, Rick Wagoner. About the time Wagoner was
fired from General Motors, General Leader Dog came home with me, to Lansing, in
December of 2009.

Before General Leader Dog, I had Lyle Leader Dog, a Black Lab, who went to
work with me every day for 8 years in Lansing Car Assembly, worked inside the
plant, and, had his own Union Card; Yes, Lyle Leader Dog was a U A W member.

Anyway, General Leader Dog will be six years old this June,

Thank You Larry, for giving me the chance to spout off about my dogs.
