Oh yeah, I totally believe both of you! I have had encounters with spirits
myself. It can be pretty cool, but it can also be kind of scary.

TWA will reimage the Abigail in a $24.4M project. The Abigail, sits on a
40-acre property. The Abigail school for the blind will be a senior
apartment housing. The Indianapolis based development project will convert
the Abigail into a 42 unit apartment building. But for the past 25 years it
has been one of the 6 "most haunted' places list, according to the
Charlotte Shopping Guide. This massive empty piece of history is believed
by many to be haunted. Jean Carpenter & Dani Fairman tell stories about the
Abigail's ghost lore. The duo cohosted a 'So Dead' podcast that explores
true crime, the paranormal & urban legends in Michigan. The two went inside
the aging building. It was the first for both. They touched the winding
staircase & walked Abigail's wide halls & viewed the spray painted graffiti
messages among the peeling paint. Carpenter researched her book 'Haunted
Lansing' released in the fall of 2018. The Abigail was the heart of 'See
No Evil' chapter. The Migican school for the blind has a paranormal
reputation.
Abigail Rogers is the woman the building is named after. According to the
Shopping Guide, for 13 years before the Abigail housed the Michigan school
for the blind, in 1855, it was the Michigan Female College. It is estimate
1000 women students attended.
The Michigan school for the blind moved from Flint in 1880. In the 1950s
more than 300 students attended. The school operated until 1995 when it
closed. Now, it is rumored that 'malevolent spirits' haunt the Abigail,
according to Carpenter. The angry spirit of Abigail has taken up residence,
why? Rogers is angry the school she founded more than 100 years ago closed.
