Yep, life goes on. I wasn’t complaining so much about the mess up, but they
have never messed up before, and it just had to be the day Duane isn’t legally
suppose to drive. That’s all.

Well, what a morning! We got up intending to go to the store about 2 miles
away, and pick up $165 worth of groceries. However, when Duane got up, his
right hand, where they put an IV into his artery in his wrist to monitor his
blood pressure, was swollen. Not black and blue, just swollen. So, he called
the after hours line at the surgeon’s office, and the doctor on staff, called
back. Told him just to elevate it, and maybe apply hot compresses. So, the
swelling is now going down. Duane is not suppose to be driving, not even to
his surgeon appointment we’ll be making for him, in two weeks. So, anyway, the
long and short of the story is that the store messed up and gave us at least
one bag, we didn’t order and we didn’t get all we bought. So, we had to go
back, about two hours later, since Duane had to rest after the first run, even
though I wouldn’t let him help unload. So, we now have 5 gallons of milk,
instead of three, some cucumbers, which is great, two heads of lettuce, a
package of pepper jack cheese, 2 store brand cream cheese packages, and a box
of blueberries, which Duane loves. No charge either, but no sausage, which we
did order. However, that’s OK. Anyway, now he’s watching a movie and resting
after eating some of those luscious blueberries.
