Can’t answer your gun smoke question, but yes, I totally did relate Bob and
Doug to the comedians. Brought a chuckle, for sure. I can’t do their little
ditty, here, but every time I empty either a toilet paper roll, or a paper
towel roll, I always have to blow the tune into it.
So, yeah, Bob and Doug McKinzey and their beer.

Subject: [msb-alumni] A couple of curiosities?
Most days I watch Gunsmoke on either me TV or TV land. Does anybody know how
many people Marshal Dillon killed in the run of the series? Perhaps even going
back to before James Arness played Matt Dillon? Also, did anyone notice that
the names of the two astronauts that went up to the international space station
where Bob and Doug? Reminded me of Bob and Doug McKenzie the two comedians from
Canada in the early 80s thanks for your time Fred
