Hi Werner,

I agree that these are editorial changes and so I think it would be fine to remove the table.

Best,
Schuyler

Dear Audio subgroup,

While reviewing N10395 (MPEG-4 part 26, audio conformance, 87th MPEG), Ralph
Sperschneider found that there are no crosses in Table 90e (SSC Profile).

We had a closer look into this and found that this table entry was inherited
from ISO_IEC_14496-4:2004/Amd.13:2007 (conformance for a.o. High Quality
Parametric Coding).

At the time of writing the WD for Amd13, the assumption was that an SSC Profile
would be defined in MPEG-4 Part 3 in due time. This however never happened.

Consequently, it is proposed to remove this table as an editorial change. In addition to removing
the table, in clauses 7.19.2.2 and 7.19.2.3 the occurrences of "SSC Profile decoder" need
to be replaced by "decoder supporting the SSC Object Type".

Are there any objection to perform these changes as editorial?

Frans de Bont / Werner Oomen
