St. Peter of Alcantara (1499-1562)
Peter was a contemporary of well-known 16th-century Spanish saints,
including Ignatius of Loyola and John of the Cross. He served as confessor
to St. Teresa of Avila. Church reform was a major issue in Peter's day, and
he directed most of his energies toward that end. His death came one year
before the Council of Trent ended. For more, follow the link below:

Church to the principalities and authorities in the heavens. ~Ephesians

allowance at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master on
arrival finds doing so. Truly, I say to you, he will put him in charge of
all his property. ~Luke 12:39-48

it is our mission today. The Lord calls to us be faithful and prudent
stewards, revealing the Lord's generosity and love and timely ways. Though
our work the kingdom is made known and continues to grow. May our work be

I pray that I may help others appreciate the Lords' grace and providence. I
pray that I may be a faithful and prudent steward, that God's kingdom may
continue to grow partly through my work.
