Check the All Saints/All Souls update for the Church's stance on the Occult,
fortune-telling, Ouija boards, etc. and a good explanation of the
"Communion of Saints." There are lots of Saints links too, and prayers for
those who have died, those who have suffered a miscarriage, and even the
Scriptures for Funerals. Visit our dia de Muertos page for lots of photos
and information about the Mexican Day of the Dead. Follow the link from:

Faith is the messenger that bears our prayers to God. Prayer can be like
incense, rising ever higher and higher. The prayer of faith is the prayer
of trust that feels the presence of God which it rises to meet. It can be
sure of some response from God. We can pray a prayer of thanks to God every
day for God's grace, which has kept us on the right way and allowed us to
start living the good life. So we can pray to God with faith and trust and
gratitude.

I pray that I may feel sure of God's response to my prayers. I pray that I
may be content with whatever form that response takes.

Richard asks prayers for his wife that she return to the sacraments and
receive the peace and joy of Christ Our Lord! Patricia asks prayers for a
safe delivery with no complications for her daughter-in-law's first baby,
for the birth of a healthy child. Vicki asks for prayers for her cousin who
has lupus, may there be an alternate solution other than chemo again.

Kevin asks prayers that his unborn son may be healthy, despite the
ultrasound image. Cheryl asks prayers for herself and her family as they are
in a dangerous situation. Matt asks for prayers for his mom who is
recovering from a broken hip and himself that he find his vocation. Kristine
asks prayers for her family members suffering with addictions and her
husband who has lung cancer. A member asks prays for her mother who must
begin chemotherapy, that her treatment goes well.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!
