.=: M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y :=.
God finds, amid the crowd, a few people who follow, just to be near God,
just to dwell in God's presence. A longing in the eternal heart may be
satisfied by these few people. I can let God know that I seek not just to
dwell in God's presence, to be near God, not so much for teaching or a
message, as just for God. It can be that the longing of the human heart to
be loved for itself is something caught from the great divine heart.

I pray that I may have a listening ear, so that God may speak to me. I pray
that I may have a waiting heart, so that God may come to me.

Richard asks prayers for his mother that the neurologist's diagnosis on
Friday was correct and that the treatment on February 23, 2007 cures her.
Connie asks prayers for her sister who is going to her doctor on Friday,
that the diagnosis is not cancer. Marie asks prayers for a special
intention.
A member asks prayers for support in her period of career discernment. Mary
asks prayers for her sister-in-law who will be having brain surgery this
week, and for her young family, who still need her care and love. A member
requests prayers for her friend's mother who fell and broke her shoulder.
A mother wishes to say thank you for good test results from one test her
daughter has taken and for good results for some more that she has to take.
Mary requests prayers of thanksgiving for recent visits with family members
that have been hurt through many misunderstandings and prays that others
will once again become a family.
Mom asks prayers that son's heart's desire to be reinstated as P.O. be
granted. Melva asks prayers for her daughter who is struggling to be a good
single mum, for help in making responsible choices in day to day life.
Rosemary offers prayers of thanksgiving for the safe return of her Marine
daughter from Iraq.
Pat asks prayers for his son that he may continue to make responsible
choices in his life. Melinda asks for prayers for a friend's baby who is
having some complications. Ray requests prayers for his cousin who had by
pass surgery and his sister who has Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Mom asks prayers for son in pursuing a new job. Amy asks prayers for a
special intention.
We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!
