"I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you." ~Psalm 32:8 .=: M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y :=. If we believe that God's grace has saved us, then we can believe that God is meaning to keep us in the way that we should go. Even a human rescuer would not save us from drowning only to place us in other deep and dangerous waters. Rather, he would place us on dry land, there to restore us. God, who is our rescuer, would certainly do this and even more. God can complete the task he sets out to do. He will not throw us overboard. We can depend on him. .=: P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y :=. I pray that I may trust God to keep me in the way. I pray I may rely on him not to let me go. .=: S C R I P T U R E S A N D S A I N T O F T H E D A Y := Scriptures: http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/ Saint of the Day: http://www.americancatholic.org/Features/SaintofDay/ .=: W E P R A Y :=. Gen asks prayers for a special intention. Gwen ask prayers for a safe return home for her daughter and her family from their vacation. Lisa asks prayers for her dear friend who had a severe stroke, and her family that they are able to cope and make all the right decisions in their situation. Laura asks prayers for her sister who has cancer, that she will survive the procedure she is having done and that the procedure works and will shrink the tumors in her liver and extend her life for many years. A mom requests prayers for her son and his family who are having financial difficulties as they make the choice to move closer to family for support-both temporary financial and emotional. Rita asks for prayers for the sale of their home--if it is God's will. We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a good day! May God Bless you and those you love, and keep you safe!
