Hi Steve,

That's the same command for jaws. I used to be able to down load it wasn't
easy, but it was possible. 

I'm not sure what changed The guy at Freedom even gave me the short cut of
pressing c to find the combo box quickly.

Nancy,

Don't know if this will help.  I'm using window eyes.  With this program to
activate a combo box, one hits enter on the box to begin the process, then
you hold the alt key while pressing the down arrow key to drop the combo box
down.  After that you can use the arrow keys as usual to locate the item you
want.  Might this be your problem? Again, I'm not familiar with jaws' 
methodology.
