I don't see any reason for Debian to host discussions about forks. I'm
not trying to shut this discussion down, but to find the proper forum
for it. debian-user is not that forum; please stop hijacking it.

A Debian fork is still Debian on its roots (`upstream`), so, why not
talk about it? At least, on its first steps?!

Forking a project isn't a bad thing.
