Hello Harry, I suspect you are getting into the realms of personal preferences here. For what its worth I swear by JC (John Cashmore) injectors and I swear at Jubilee Fittings injectors. I know a few people who swear by Jubilee Fittings injectors but, when you drive their engines they invariably describe some incredible ritual that has to be undertaken to get the damn thing to work and, when it does work a significant quantity of the delivery water comes out of the overflow instead of going into the boiler. On the other hand, with every JC injector that I have used you simply turn the water on , then the steam and away it goes - and no overflow. If it doesn't then its time for a little soak in vinegar.
