Peter,

Our bureaucrats and their asinine rules are bad enough, but at least we
don't have to worry about those idiots over on the continent telling us what
to do YET! They would like to get the US to disallow ownership of firearms,
but so far they have been unsuccessful. There are liberals over here who
want us to allow the UN to tell us everything that is right and they will
keep trying to get their people in office at every election. The Wicked
Witch of the West will surely run for president next time and there are
probably enough idiots to vote for her to get her and her liberal crowd in
office. Immediately, she and her cohorts will begin to try to erode our
freedom more than already has been done. Governments seem to think that if
the people were dumb enough to vote them in office, then they are also too
dumb to know what is good for themselves.

For a while we had a woman as head of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health
Administration). Among the other idiotic rules she came up with was that
all toilet seats had to be exactly 17 inches tall in any establishment
covered by the bureaucracy. I think people like OSHA and the EU have to
come up with new rules all the time to justify their existence as the
despicable bottom feeding parasites that they are.

OFF OF SOAPBOX NOW

On a lighter note, my Filer and Stowell is back together with flues that do
not leak. All I am doing now is a bit of cosmetic additions like bolt heads
on wheel counterweights, a handrail across the pilot and a foot board at the
same location. Wheel weights on these little locomotives seem to have been
made of two pie slice shaped pieces clamped between the spokes by a single
through bolt at each location. Maybe I will add running boards along the
boiler so my fireman can fill the sand dome also, but that might require
hand rails..Any photos of "Blanche"?
