Kevin, First, put the whole contraption in the freezer. Then when frozen, take a solder iron, and apply to the remains of the tap only. Repeat a couple of times, the tap will become less lodged in the casting, but patience will be needed. The H2SO4 solution, is in my opinion, an absolute no-no! Is this correct? And if so where can I buy / get a small quantity. > I have been offered 25 litres, but cannot get anything smaller. > MODEL ENGINEERING DISCUSSION LIST. > > To UNSUBSCRIBE from this list, send a blank email to, > modeleng-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject > line. > > > MODEL ENGINEERING DISCUSSION LIST.
