Hi All
Phosphoric Acid is also used in the flux used  for etch brass soldering  
construction kits, I used to make my own,  10% solution in water with a drop
of  
IPA, (This fluxes the flux)  and allows it to follow.
I also believe it is used in rust  inhibitors?.
