You XS people get tap tempo now! That's cool shit! Such a small feature, but
really helps out.
On the main screens of any of the modes, you can tap the SF6 key to set the
tempo. So, when you now start playing a voice or performance with an arp live,
you can tap out the tempo instead of having to keep tweaking the tempo knob in
arp fx in order to sync it up. Also, if you get set to record a song or pattern
from scratch, you know what a pain it was to get that first tempo right for
laying down your first track or phrase/loop. Now you can just tap SF6 a few
times, and you're tempo is set.

1.60 comes bundled with new features as well as bugs and fixes. Instead of
pointing all the goodies of the new update through this e-mail, I'm posting you

the new features, as well as, uh, the updater, XS extension, VST editor and
Studio Manager (the latter three are for users of Steinberg's DAW tools).

The only thing I can say about it is that I'm so excited that this Motif line
allowed for many add-on functions and as we can see in the page, things that we
thought that would be possible only by purchasing a new gear, are present
