When you go to track 2, are you changing track two's channel to another channel other than what track 1's channel is.
In other words, each track must have their own channel. Also, are you using the instrument definition filed for the xs?----- Original Message ----- From: "Len Viljoen" <len@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Have a little problem. When I try to record a midi track in sonar when I select a sound on my motif xs and record midi track 1 I have no problem. But when I go to track 2 and select another sound from the motif and try to record it it also changes the sound of track 1 to the sound of track 2. Why is that? Help please?
