Totally agree with Ians view. We should be an inclusive place. I can’t think
why we are being asked as probably if someone is offended they don’t volunteer
on that day or are given other work if an employee.
Des has had a half hip (?) replacement so will be out of normal action for 3
months. Does that sound more than normal ? If reasonable mobility, then 4
weeks of carers at home to assist . I’ve sent a comic card from “his partners
in crime at mk” which depicts a tortoise on its back, which Christine found on
the interweb.
I told Alison we will keep in touch.

Just my personal views…
I can’t think of anything that would induce me to join their group, however I
would find it much, much worse if the museum seeks to disallow them from
visiting. If we do that, then for me it is the thin end of a disturbing wedge
where some might in future seek to ask us whether we should allow supporters of
a particular religion, or maybe people with a particular skin colour to be
allowed to visit.
I’m actually surprised that anyone is even asking our opinion.
Also, yes, we really do need the money!
