[missbird] Long beach harbor gull

Its probably something common and I am sorry I didn’t have bins or a camera on
me but I was on my cardiologist demanded walk this AM and saw one that “was not
like the others”. All alone but appeared much larger than a ring billed, more
like herring sized. Might BE a herring. Pink legs, ring or otherwise large dark
tip on bill. Those dark bars just looked odd to me. It was VERY skittish.
Anyone?
