please do not hijack threads, open a new one.
That being said: the defaults of MIRA are to delete most of the temporary
files in the "log" dir already, there is not much you can delete by hand.
But you might want to try the development version of MIRA on SourceForge ...
some of the files are 10 fold smaller than for the stable 3.2.1 line.
