Well Steve, agree, and your 'bad habbit (?? No, no .sure not...) teach me more something new.. I have very limited knowledge about Si570, Arduino, Atmel Microcontroller, and rtx architecture such as Minima. Farhan and other experiened people here trigger me to learn. I enjoy much, especially right now on the tollway in Jakarta otw home, today is the hard day within last 3 days due to flood..tomorrow may be worst,, better stay home turn on solder for our hobby 73, Sudarmanta Grid locator : OI33rn ( 100 km east of our capital city of Jakarta ) Kaspa-kaspaanlayauw ® -----Original Message----- From: "Steve VK2SJA" <vk2sja@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sender: minima-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tue, 21 Jan 2014 19:43:53 To: <minima@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Reply-To: minima@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [minima] Re: Fw: radiono.ono Hi Sudarmanta, Fortunately for us we don't have to really understand this. Because Farhan and others have done the hard work for us. But that spreadsheet does the calculations required to arrive at the correct data values required to program the Si570 chip for a given frequency. To build and use a Minima we won't have to understand any of this. The work has already been done by others. But I have a bad habit. Can't be given any new toy without pulling it apart to find out what is inside :-) This spreadsheet will help me understand the inner workings or Farhan's program. 73, Steve VK2SJA
