Hi All, Hppy Bdy Sonia once again. here is the list of links and urls , i have deleted some personal ones related to my scholarship and studies..i have kept some other ones not directly linked to microfinance... its just a collection of urls not organised. one of my task for the month of aug is not only to organise my list but to go thorugh them and see which ones are useful and for what. regarding the material on MF, atul has a huge data and i have copy of most of them, one day we can compare it and upload them ..may be 31st July is a good day for that. i just felt how amzingly the platform is all set....wow Saurabh - you will have to help get use to this tech world, wiki and box net and all that. Atul - where r u ..abh toh barish aake gayi aap nahi aaye .. I have lost track of all emails since this microworld list started, sorry. will get back on track and hopefully will know all on this list. rgds asif --- On Fri, 23/7/10, Saurabh Bhatia <saurabh.a.bhatia@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Saurabh Bhatia <saurabh.a.bhatia@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [microworld-dev] Re: Microworld - ohloh Profile To: microworld-dev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Friday, 23 July, 2010, 10:38 AM I have created a free account on Box.net . About the links, we will keep it in an excel that can be uploaded or something else but in oragnised manner. a brief about the link person who has posted it and the date. Asif has done that in excel in a better way. Anyone wanting to about MF should first go through the KM bank if he/she is not satisfied with it or want more then he/she can go to the net. we need to categorize the info like Training Functional Technical Cases On 7/23/10, Saurabh Bhatia <saurabh.a.bhatia@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: Sounds Like a Great Idea Atul , We have a Wiki http://wiki.github.com/saurabhbhatia/microworld/ where we can organize and put links there. If you have books or some other materials, I will create a new repository for it. I have no idea of rails and ruby although i have sound domain expertise in Loans and microfinance. A lot of documents have been exchanged in during the idea generation of the software that we are building. Documents on how to calculate the interest rate, instituions who have implemented MF etc For the people who are gaining knowldege about MF I would suggest to visit CGAP website. Saurabh, As a part of research and knowledge gaining basicaly knowledge management I would suggest that we have repository of documents, links, traning materials etc. Sonia, Asif If you rememeber we have soken on this. Infact Asif has done that for his own sake in excel. He has a list of website which he researches. Benefits 1. This will reduce time for anybody wanting to know about microfinance. 2. Anybody who is not aware of rails and ruby and still wants to contribute can self learn using the training docs 3. Functional knowlege can be gained with the help of the docs, pdfs etc 4. Everybody as part of their own study of MF is contributing various links which could be captured stored so that the others can visit it and gain knowledge 5. The repository can be used for any new person to start of with his/her basic research there by reducing time in googling and start contributing. 6. At the end we will have a knowledge bank which we as well as other NGO can leverage upon. Saurabh , Please make a repository so that we can start capturing the knowledge that we create.
