10th Anniversary of the Paul Nohr Memorial Sundial

We invite the public along with friends, colleagues and family of late
Observatory Astronomer Paul Nohr to visit his beloved Observatory on Sunday
March 24th. Dedicated 10 years ago the Sundial has proved itself an amazing
teaching tool experienced by thousands of visitors and students.
Paul was instrumental in restoring the Observatory's two cherished telescopes.
He was a master educator and loved teaching with a sundial with all his
students-young and old.
Today, Paul's legacy guides our ambitions. We aim for excellence in our
education programs while maintaining the integrity of our history.
Paul set high standards for both.
Free and open to the public (donations welcome).
No reservations required. Drop in any time.
The special event includes:
* Sundial demonstrations and safe Sun viewing (weather permitting)
* Tours of our National Landmark Observatory
* Light refreshments
