The Waldschmidt Homestead is open only on Sundays 1-5. We need three docents to
open. We prefer to have four or more.
Our caretaker lives on the site with his family.
The property is managed by our State Vice Regent and 15 trustees.

The Betts House board and
I are looking for examples of
small museums that operate with less than 5 staff,
preferably only 1 to 3
. We want to compare hours, programming, staff roles and
budgets.
We are open 3 days per
week plus 2 Saturdays each month
using on PT staff person, and any volunteers or students we
can find! J
