On my last trip to NYC I wandered into NMAI NY. I've been to the DC museum
and was so impressed. This time I had only about 30 minutes and gravitated
to their hands on education area for middle school. the DC site has a
section but for younger kids.
The staff were incredible and handed over their info on teacher resources
in teaching Native history--I believe these links can all be found on their
