Hi Folks,
As mentioned before, the Educators Focus Group Program is meant to be a
follow-up to the work we've been doing with Common Core and education
initiatives. The intent is to help each organization get the specifics they
need for their individual programs, needs and sites. The program will be
taking place in lieu of the monthly meeting and will be on *Monday, July 13
from Noon to 2 p.m. at the Heritage Village Museum*.
*There will be no RSVP for this program and is open to all of our members*,
but each organization will be limited to bringing no more 2 individuals.
Just let me know if your organization is interested in attending as soon as
you can, so I can ensure the proper number of educators. I am wanting at
least 1 educator per organization. The greater amount of feedback and
discussion, the better. As far as educators go, we are looking for PK-12 in
history, social studies, math and science.
If you know any educators, this program would be a great opportunity to
introduce them to the group as a wonderful educational resource that could
meet their needs. If you need further details, please let me know. Also, if
you do know an educator who is interested, could you please have them
contact me?
Don't forget to bring your notes, mission statement, programs and other
materials you may need, along with your appetites!
