We have been using Past Perfect for 10 years. We use it for everything from
membership on up. I would suggest you purchase the support package at least
for the first year. After that you should be ok on your own.

Software (networked for up to 5 users) and online component was about 2350.0o.
We joined AASLH to get a significant discount. Membership was about $100.00
but it saved us over 1000.00. There are some quirks, but overall, an easy and
cost-effective way to get your materials out there. And, lots of different
component options – books, archives, art, objects, multimedia (that’s a
separate package, which I don’t think we got), and there is additionally an
option to purchase an online exhibition program. We didn’t do that.

similar, this could be a good panel discussion for the group – ways to get your
materials out there and I would be willing to participate.

We’ve had the software for about a month. We have two people on staff working
on it – 1 most of the time, and me some of the time, plus an intern and a
volunteer who work on it several hours a week. It’s involved, but easy enough
to learn and there are shortcuts for batches of info, which is super nice.
