HI-

 

At Grailville we share a bookkeeper with our national office.  She handles
my AR/AP (we use Quickbooks) and the payroll (which she collects, tracks and
then sends off to our payroll company).

 

For IT we used to have an IT person who contracted to come in once a week
but with reduced need that went away.  Now we have an IT person on contract
to monitor our systems remotely and come in for any issues.  We pay a set
amount for the monitoring and basic maintenance/updates and then an hourly
rate for any issues.

We are currently going through this, as our bookkeeper quit.

 

I currently do the deposits, and to preparatory work with the payroll.  We
just turned the rest of our financial  books over to the private accounting
firm that was doing our payroll, 990 and other work associated with being a
501-c3.  They prepare the checks (after I request/ok the payment).  Our
checks require two signatures.

 

IT support?  What is that???????  I have a volunteer who is good with
trouble shooting computers, otherwise its Staples.

from the membership what everyone does for bookkeeping.   Is it someone on
staff, on the board, or do you have an outside source?

 

Also what do you do for IT support?  In house, board, or a company?
