Are you looking for someone strictly for bookkeeping ie making bank deposits,
writing checks, reconciling accounts, etc, or an accountant?
Right now I do basic entries for bank deposit and paying bills. That will
likely go to our admin sometime this year. We have an outside accountant to do
the real work. ADP does our payroll.
Anyone have an accountant they like who understands NPOs?
IT was been a problem. We had a board member helping until they stepped down
and then a couple of volunteers for different periods of time (which I hesitate
to utilize again.
We interviewed 3 IT firms last year and they all came in with proposals and
monthly costs that far exceeded our basic Mom & pop size org needs.
If we find someone we'll pass it along.

from the membership what everyone does for bookkeeping. Is it someone on
