We would like to hear what group members’ experiences of the MHA have been, and
take the discussion from there.
I don’t have personal experience of the MHA myself, only because when I was
detained it was when I was still in Canada. I was in hospital quite a few times
in my late teens, but only sectioned (what we called ‘certified’) once or
twice. From what I’ve heard so far, it sounds like hospital there may have been
better than here.
