Everything Rob says is correct EXCEPT
The Connexion has confirmed the money will not be refunded if it isn't
needed for the Pension Fund so, in my opinion, they will have no hope of
collecting it.
Supernumeraries are not affected because you are already guaranteed to
receive your pensions. It is active members of the Scheme, or those who
have yet to take their pension, who are comprised by this.
