They are right, Sharon, but only because the money will otherwise have
to come from the Connexion's reserve funds, which won't then be
available for anything else because they will be ringfenced for the
pension fund. They will have to decide whose reserve funds they prefer
to be tied up in this way. I guess they will not take long to decide!
