Hi All,
This feels a bit like a blast from the past... I believe I was among one of the
first to join the original yahoo group, which must have been about 15(?) years
ago? But then Facebook came along and that seemed to take over so many aspects
of relating to colleagues at a distance. Since then the dark side of Facebook
has become evident and my use of it is now largely restricted to Groundhog
presbyters and posting church stuff.
I don’t think Facebook will be around forever, so I’m very glad to be part of a
group that is not part of a Facebook empire. Thank you Tony for sticking with
it, I’m sure the take up will only increase as people choose to have at least a
foothold outside the world of social media and FB in particular.
