Greetings from Greenpeace!
Greenpeace is a non-profit, global, independent, campaigning
organization change attitudes and behaviour, to protect and conserve
the environment.
We have two positions for a 2 month internship opportunity available
from the 10th of May 2017 to the 10th of July 2017. We are looking for
motivated interns to work on various environmental issues and research
projects with our team at Greenpeace India spread specifically around
air pollution issues across the country.
Requirements to be eligible for the internship:
Should be pursuing a master’s degree in any related field to
environment science and have an experience of working on a research
project.
Should have good communication skills. Being able to read and
write in Hindi is essential.
Should be committed and motivated to work on challenging
environmental issues.
Knowledge of mapping tools such as Arc GIS, ERDAS IMAGINE or Q-GIS is desirable.
Interns will be entitled to:
Receive mentoring for the research projects they will undertake in
discussions with Greenpeace.
Internship certificate from Greenpeace after completion of the
project and task agreed upon between the intern and Greenpeace.
Stipend along with other work related expenses will be covered for
the internship period.
Internship Period:
· From 10th May 2017 to 10th July 2017
Internship Location:
· Either Delhi or Bangalore (Will be mutually decided at a later stage)
