Dear YETI Team,
Please forward this among your circles, I believe this event would be
useful for all divers and students of marine biology.
We, at *Temple Adventures*, would love to invite all SCUBA divers for our
*Diver**'s Get T**ogether*! This is t a fun filled weekend in Pondy on
the *23rd
- 24th June*, with lots of diving, eating, chats with fellow divers ,
exciting presentations and pro tips, some awesome land events and
underwater games and plus competitions.
This weekend provides a relaxed and fun atmosphere for people in diving and
conservation sectors to network, learn and meet new people.
The core of it will of course be some reef building work for a new
artificial reef which we are working on, run by our NGO *Temple Reef
Foundation*. With the support of Wildlife Trust of India, we have commenced
a new artificial reef project to enable sustainable fisheries. We are
always looking for experienced divers or beginners even who can contribute
in terms of logistical support, safety divers, or even help us build the
actual reef itself. Volunteer dives are at a 30% discount during the event.
We will also be having scientists and leading conservation practitioners
here for the event, with interesting panel discussions. We will be
conducting an Underwater Naturalist course for anyone interested in taking
the next step into marine conservation!
