Michael Commons, now over 15 years in Thailand (and highly fluent in
Thai), has worked for over 12 years organic farming, self-reliance,
fair-trade, forest gardening, thai herbal medicine and has been helping
spearhead the regenerative agriculture movement in Thailand.
He practices 'Wanakaset' with his family in Chachoengsao, Thailand and is
a key coordinator for all permaculture convergences held in and by
Thailand.
He often helps conduct several workshops, both for the Thai as well as
non-thai people in helping disseminate local traditional knowledge and
thereby preserving it as well.
He is now helping Loong Choke open up his 'Bamboo Wisdom School' for the
non-Thai speaking world and help spread bamboo knowledge harnessed by
cultures of Thailand, Laos and Indonesia.
