ALLCON,  HERE IS A LINK TO THE USGS VOLCANO WEB SITE.  IT SHOWS THE ALERT LEVEL
AS ORANGE WHICH IS ONE FROM THE TOP.  SHOULD THIS VOLCANO ERUPT COUNT ON SEEING
DISRUPTION IN AIR TRAFFIC AS FAR AS CHICAGO (MAYBE FURTHER AT SOME ALTITUDES).
IT IS WORTH NOTING THAT WHEN THE PLUME REACHES 40-50K FT A GOOD PORTION OF THE
SUN LIGHT WILL BE REFLECTED INTO SPACE AND THE TEMPS WILL DROP.

THIS HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CAUSE COLDER WEATHER EVEN ON THE EAST COAST OF THE US
AND INCREASED SNOW FALL. ALL STATIONS SHOULD MONITOR THE SITUATION FOR FURTHER
DEVELOPMENTS.

IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE THAT THE ASH MAY ADVERSLY AFFECT PROPAGATION.  BE PREPARED
TO USE ALTERNATE FREQUENCIES IF NECESSARY.

JIM
