Dave,
Thanks I did this about a year ago but I will pass it on to Wayne and the
rest of the MDC guys so that they also have the mods made

The attached text files are for use with AirMail propagation prediction.
They each define the radiation pattern of a 1/2 wave dipole antenna at
1/8 wavelength high at the frequency of interest. These antennas are
more realistic than the default 17dB VOA transmitting antenna, and a
short wave whip for receiving.

To use these files, first navigate to the folder
C:\itshfbc\antennas\default.
Find SWWHIP.VOA and rename it to SWWHIP.oldvoa.
Find CONST17.VOA and rename it to CONST17.oldvoa.
Drag and drop the attached files into \default.

To be sure that AirMail uses the new antennas, the next
time you run AirMail, change the SUNSPOTS field and click
UPDATE while in the PROPAGATION window. To be double-sure,
navigate to C:\itshfbc\run. Find the most recent GAINxx.OUT
file and read it with NOTEPAD. If the first line in the file
reads "2-D Table Omni-Dipole" then the change is complete.
