FIRST A LITTLE REFRESHER FROM THE BTC:
                                                US ARMY MARS BASIC TRAINING

Reporting Requirements  
Each Individual member is required to submit a monthly Participation Report 
reflecting their on-air and off-air  
MARS activity through the last day of the month. A report is required even if a 
member or station had no activity  
for that month. Members temporarily unable to participate for an extended 
period may request a leave of absence  
from their State MARS Director. Monthly participation reporting is not required 
during a leave of absence.    
  
Participation Reports are due by the 5th day of each month.  The report is 
explained in detail later.  
  
Calculating Participation Credit  
Participation credit is reported in half-hour increments for both on-the-air 
and off-the-air activities.   Activity  
between one and 40 minutes equals one half-hour credit; 41 to 60 minutes of 
activity equals one full hour for  
credit.
